Abstract
The work deals with the history of one of the georgian wine "Khvanchkara", the stages of
its development, the status and the perspectives for the future. While the Khvanchkara wine is
not made from only one variety of grapes, therefore a part of the work will be devoted to the
ampologic review of the relevant varieties, which were found after the study of theoretical
material. The goal of this research topic is to inform the reader about the amazing history of
wine and the different tasteful features as much as possible. It should be noted here that
Khvanchkara is naturally semi-sweet wine and geographical micro-zone has contributed to this.
The combination of soil, climate. humidity, and other factors that we think is considerable to
discuss. We will provide the reader with more or less complete information about the
geographical location and characteristics of Khvanchkara and on the other hand, the reader will
find out more about some unique qualities of the wine.
The work will present the visions of the author about the future prospects which will be result
of logical discussion of data analysis.
