Effective communication as an essential element of public governance, its role in public development, and the characteristics of effective public sector governance - are one of the most actual problems of modernity. The objectives of the thesis are to thoroughly study the stages of communication development as well as to understand its essence, and on the other hand to define the role of public sectors in increasing the effectiveness of modern public organizations.
The thesis discusses effective, ineffective and disruptive theories of communication as a modern scientific theory, examples of targeted and predetermined management practices by the public sector, based on practical communication experience and accumulated theoretical knowledge.
The thesis also provides and discusses examples of effective communication between municipalities and public officials. Privileges of public services and public relations. We also discuss the role of the media and the issue of its neutrality and credibility.
The master thesis consists of 6 chapters, which are divided into subsections. For more clarity, the conclusion is followed by an appendix and a list of used literature.
The thesis is accompanied by a study, according to which respondents were given the opportunity to state their position. The results showed that the topic is one of the most urgent and problematic issues of modernity.
