კახეთის მცირედ გავრცელებული წითელყურძნიანი ვაზის ჯიშების ბიოლოგიური და სამეურნეო თვისებების შესწავლა

Master's thesis presents the viticulture direction and research aims to study the biological and economic properties of less known red grapevine varieties (Simonaseuli, Saperavi Budeshuriseburi,) of Kakheti region; also, to obtaine new experimental material according to latest requirements and asses with the descriptors designed by International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV).
Despite the diversity of grape varieties in Georgia, we cannot boast about the abundance of varieties fully studded and described with modern descriptors. Studding or scientific materials can not answer challenges and modern requirements. The ampelography textbooks are outdated too.
A colorful Digital Photo Catalog which will create a visual presentation of a grapevine variety for the person interested in this topic is very rare.
Our project will facilitate the study of modern resources and technologies for two Georgian grapevine varieties (Simonaseuli, Saperavi Budeshuriseburi,) with its varietal, flavor, qualitative, ampelogical or agricultural features.
