Abstract
Since patriarchal epoch, stress has remained an accopmanied part in human life. In order to
survive, stress in the daily life of the Stone Age forced people to protect themselves from predators.
Today, in the 21st century, the icon of the predator continues its existence mostly by the image of
modern bureaucracy, technologies, social networks and other factors of causing stress. Noteworthy
to mention the attitudes of the workers in the field of labor especially in the public sector. Since it
is a state structure where the level of responsibility is high in relation to citizens, that might
become one of the most likely factors for causing stress. And the interest of researching labor
satisfaction among the public sector workers is to determine what delays to this mentioned sector
to function effectively.
The purpose of the study is to determine how actively and effectively functioning stress
management programs in the Georgian public sector in terms of employee job satisfaction. To
achieve this goal, the objective of the research is to find connection between stress management
and job satisfaction by analysing the opinions of the public servants, human resource managers and
experts from different public sector.
