The Master’s work refers to Georgian educational market and research of examining knowledge of students and the assessment practices at high school. It is generally known how important role has evaluation in the process of functioning of the high school.
In addition to the fact that it has a great educational function, it also provides comprehensive information to all the interested parties- the students understand what stage they are on their development, professor-teachers are taught, how to reach goal of a particular student and how to plan for the future study process, and the state receives information on the results obtained by the assessment of students, how the learning and teaching process takes place, what are achievements and shortcomings, and by taking into consideration this data, determines the state policy on this issue.
