Good Investment Weather is an essential component of a strategic oriented strategy for stimulating growth and development of the country that will provide more and high quality investments, create more productive and high-income jobs that are important to increase poverty and to increase public prosperity.
Creating a healthy investment climate and encouraging investments has become a priority for Georgia and the government of any country. It is especially important for small and low-income developing countries.
Master’s thesis concerns the main subject trends and tendencies of the country's investment strategy, that are analyzed by foreign investments, investment insurance, current and finished high-budget investments.
The goal of the research is to consider and analyze investment climate, to define the importance of foreign investments for today's Georgia, the reasons for the reduction of FDI.
The scientific innovation of the research is reflected in the structure of foreign investment - (according to branches and sources) dynamics and influence on the Georgian economy. In the scope of investment policy review, it’s have been analyzed general and specific measures implemented in the country to improve investment climate, the main problematic issues were identified priority directions to be implemented.
