Abstract
Educational system has to go through a lot of changes until it takes a certain face since a desired result might not be achieved without continuous process of renewal. School plays one of the crucial roles in the educational field which is essential to the process of educating and forming civic worldview of the future generation.
New united Germany needed to put a lot of effort into uniting all spheres of the nation into a single system, which was divided in two parts over the course of a decade. One of the most important matters was the settlement of the school issue, since in schooling, as in any other fields, there were major differences that required immediate reform. Education is the most important and priority for any state. Therefore, our attention was drawn to the school problem in the Federal Republic of Germany. In particular, in the presented work „German school system in 1990-2000s“, we examine the first decade of association as the initial and most difficult phase in the process of regulating the school system of the Federal Republic of Germany.
