Abstract
Presented master paper is considered today’s topical role and importance of wine tourism, which is a new direction for our country and hindering a lot of barriers to develop it, For example: The absence of infrastructure in almost all regions of Georgia, the lack of skilled and qualified personnel in the villages, the foreign language barrier, poor quality wine, etc.
The main goal and objective of the work is to evaluate wine tourism as a new resources for the development feld of winemaking. Also, it is important to establish the benefits and advantages of the development of wine tourism, especially for small wineries, to enhance wine export and to support the wine industry.
Wine tourism in the services and products of fundamental research will help the wine tourism of private business owners to better explore the market, to see what risks are associated, for example building of small cellars, what segment of tourists arrive, what requirements they have and to be able to satisfy the enterprise. Also, what is the need for opening a tourism company focused on domestic and wine tourism and conducting wine tours, what are the difficulties of studying, analysis and conclusion of wine tourists.
The research has revealed the positive and negative effects of wine tourism development in wine industry, problems and perspectives, new resources and opportunities. Recommendations and advices are provided within the research.
