In this work, we will discuss macroeconomic aspects of economic growth. We explain the essence, determining factors, types, measurement, assessment methods and key indicators.
In the paper, the views of various economists will be looked into about economic growth and its factors. We will focus on economic policy as one of the key factors of economic growth and economic policy tools, that enable to see the boundaries of different state institutions and the channels through which they influence the economic growth.
We will also be able to see how different institutions can operate, how they impact economic connotation. In addition, we will focus on the necessity of coordinating between fiscal and monetary policy. In short, the first and second chapters of this work summarize and discuss theories about economic growth. In this paper, State will also be considered as the economic growth’s regulator, also its instruments.
In Chapter Three, we will focus on the main macroeconomic indicators of Georgia that reflect current trends of economic growth. By considering macroeconomic mentors, we will be able to analyze the economic growth and see its trends.
In addition to standard analysis, in the third chapter one more indicator will be closely discussed an evaluated: the Inclusive Growth Index. Calculation of this index will allow us to look at the economic growth in a different way and evaluate how well the economic growth is reflected on the population.
After reviewing macroeconomic aspects of economic growth, conclusions will be made about Georgia's economic growth and further recommendations will be considered.
