Abstract
Moving into a new millennium, constantly changing and developing processes resulted
in an increased number of a new generation at the workplace, that lead to challenges for
organizations and the employees. The goal of this Thesis is to identify the challenges of the new
generation - the Millennials face in the process of integration in the public, private and public
organizations in Georgian reality. In order to achieve this goal, the Thesis deals with the general
tendencies of millennials in the workplace and analyzes the results of the research conducted
within the framework of this Thesis.
The selection of this topic derives from its relevance in modern reality. Currently, the
workforce is diverse and represented by different generations, but in 10 years time, the
workforce will be monopolized by millennials. Emerging of the millennials at the workplace
next to baby boomers and generation X has influenced the ongoing organizational processes.
Given the fact that the representatives of different generations have different characteristics
and work behavior unless these differences are analyzed and well understood, it is likely to
have a negative impact on organizational processes. It should be noted that there are less indepth
studies of generations available
in Georgia. Studies
that partly cover the
topic of the
Millennium
mostly relate to the
general condition
and
values
of Georgian
young
people.

be
considered
is
not available

creates
interesting
and valuable
material
for
the
stakeholders
as it
