The thesis analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of corporate governance in Georgia for enterprises established with state equity participation. The paper does not apply to enterprises where local self-government bodies have a shareholding.
The issue of corporate governance of enterprises established with state equity partnership, does not lose its relevance due to the fact that they have a special impact on the economic climate of the country and their functioning is significantly related to the efficiency of spending the state financial resources.
In the framework of the thesis, the issue is analyzed based on the norms of the Law of Georgia on Entrepreneurs, as well as studies of various national non-governmental and international organizations, which offer best practices in the management of similar enterprises.
For an in-depth and practical study of the issue, the paper also analyzes examples of corporate governance of specific enterprises and court decisions related to their activities on specific issues related to the topic.
The thesis highlights the issues, which contain some shortcomings and have a more or less significant impact on the proper functioning of enterprises established with state equity participation and consequently, their positive impact on the country's economic development.
Therefore, in the following chapters, we discuss the issue of corporate governance in enterprises established with state equity participation, the problems associated with it and its importance in entrepreneurial law.
The paper includes a summary, table of contents, introduction, main topic (divided into chapters and subsections), conclusion and review and the list of literature.
