My research is about the coup, which took place in Iran in the year 1953. As a result of the riot, Mohammed Mossadegh, who was elected according to democratic principles, was finally overthrown by CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) and SIS (Secret Intelligence Service). The study consists of the analyses of Western-Eastern scientific texts, as well as the position of Persian newspapers toward the process. My specific aim is to identify the role, which U.S and namely CIA played in order to subvert Mohammed Mossadegh’s democratically elected government.
Besides, we aimed to use a lot of different historical sources and compared innumerable Persian facts which each other, which highlights the Persian ideas and position. The study has also shown the beginning of historical- economical- political relation between the U.S and Iran, the ways of struggling between them in the near eastern. The study reveals the ways how the U.S began to implement its plans and how Mohammed Mossadegh fought against their plans. The study consists of the information about the operation of “AJAX” .The study has also revealed the relation between the above mentioned countries after the process.
There is a lack of the information in Georgian history. Therefore we contend that the consequences of the research is extremely informative. As nowadays tension between the U.S and Iran is flared up exactly from the period.
