Abstract
When we teach math, we tradiotionally answer the questions of “What to teach?”, “How to teach?” and “Whom to teach?”. The question “Why” is left out of the attention, the learner needs to show more mathemetical facts, texstbooks and class room work with geometrical tasks that requirethe use of special methods and/or techniques and the content of the tasks and their solutions. Using methods and tools don’t gobeyond the high scool math program doing so, we help to encourage students intrinsic motivation, deepen their knowlage, and develop critical thinking. Simply, we teach students analytical thinking.
Historical experience has shown that teaching math at all levels needs to be done consciously. The teacher needs to prioritize students reasoning and thinking rather then teaching the material orally.He/She should be able to read the students thoughts, encourage and support the students individual ideas and unexpected discoveries.
