In the period of globalization when the interdepence among countries are growing and
international economic relations are deeping, the integrational processes to the world has an
essential importance. That’s why, the given work discusses the importance of the participation
of Georgia in different international integrational unities and analyzing of received positive or
negative results.
In the first chapter is discussed the essence and necessity of international economic
integration, theoretical concepts of economic integration and the role of the state in the
invocation and regulation at the process of international economic integration.
In the second chapter - the participation of Georgia in such integrational unities, as
integrational unities of the participation of CIS countries, the unities of integrational unities of
post-soviet space, and the basic directions of the BlackSea economic cooperation development.
In the third chapter - the partnership and cooperation with the countries of GeorgiaEuropean Union, and the future development perspectives. Is assessing the dynamics of
Georgia-European Union trade relationships, is emphasized the role of investments of the
countries of European Union in the economy of Georgia and is also discussed the integrational
unities of Georgia and Asia-Pacific Ocean and other different regions and continents of the
world and their importance in terms of member countries and cultural development of the
world. Also is analysed the place of Georgia in international economic ratings and its
importance for the country.
And at last, a survey of the population on Georgia's foreign policy was conducted and
conclusions were made based on the results obtained.
