ქსნის ხეობა უცხოური წყაროების მიხედვით

Foreign murders and travelers who have long been interested in studying the history of Georgia. They have a lot of interesting information about the political, socio-economic, cultural or other issues of our country. Due to this, Georgian historiography showed animal interest in the references of foreign authors.
The aim of our master's thesis is to find foreign sources related to the past of Ksani Saeristavo and Samukhranbatono in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, to analyze them, to compare them with Georgian sources and the historical reality. Based on all this, we study the relevant period of the history of the Ksani gorge with an ancient past, the social, economic or political issues of the region. In addition, the paper shows the reasons for the constant migration of the population, the purpose and role of fortifications in the valley, minerals, ethnographic life…
The paper mainly uses Russian, German and Turkish sources, which contain rich material about the history of the Ksani Valley in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Foreign sources also allow us to analyze not only Ksani Saeristavo and Samukhranbatono, but also Georgia in general with its neighbors, including Turkey and Russia.
