The tourism sector is gaining ground in the economies of developing countries. The reason for this is the slow development of the manufacturing sector, high unemployment and many other reasons. It is true that a lot of attention has been paid to Georgia since the initial stage of independence, but the complete infrastructural equipment, training of qualified personnel required for the field of tourism, legal regulation are still imperfect. As we know from the history of the development of the tourism industry, it has taken millennia for modern developed tourism. The dynamics of tourism development in Georgia is growing, as are the infrastructure sectors, but due to the economic situation of the country, there are still many problems, so it is important to study the existing and still undiscovered problems. Tourism has a great impact on the social development of society, the satisfaction of spiritual needs. It is a source of additional income for the population. The field of tourism has an impact on the development of the economy, its share in GDP depends on the study of the still undiscovered tourism potential, the possibilities of its use and the forecast of future revenues. All this should be reflected in the tourism development strategy and should be subject to annual review in the wake of economic development. The master's thesis is an attempt to analyze the problems in the field of tourism based on the studied materials and to formulate our vision and proposals for the development of fields necessary for the development of the field.
