Protection of Ethnic Minorities Rights as a Valuable Component in the National Security Format - Georgia and Azerbaijan

The present master's thesis, "Protection of Ethnic Minorities Rights as a Valuable Component in the National Security Format - Georgia and Azerbaijan" examines the role of ethnic minorities in the country’s national security. The aim of the master's thesis is to determine the impact and importance of the protection and stability of ethnic minorities in Caucasus in terms of security in the Caucasus region.
Based on the analysis of the past practice, the threats, the process of conflict origins and flow and ways of solving them will be assessed. It is also important to demonstrate the impact of "Frozen Conflicts" in the Caucasus region on the stable development of the region's economy. Peaceful settlement of the ethnic conflicts in the Caucasus region is important and essential for the international society. The protection of ethnic minorities will also be reviewed as an element of regional and sustainable development.
With the help of the presented master's thesis it will be possible to present the existing problems in the Caucasus region and seek ways to solve the issue.
