Small and medium business is one of the important factors for the development of the country and the economy in general , which provides job creation, promotes GDP growth and reduces poverty. Creates an environment for economic and political stability that is a stimulus for the country’s population.
The paper analyzes the origins of small and medium business, with its stages, SME functions and SWOT analysis. The role of entrepreneurs in modern business is discussed. The turnover of the business sector, product output and number of employees are also comprehensively studied. Significant attention is paid to the problems of small and medium – sized enterprises during the pandemic, state benefits and ways to solve the problem.
The paper discusses the theoretical and practical issues of small and medium entrepreneurs, as well as important research on the current challenges of small and medium entrepreneurs.
In the process of working on the paper, methods of scientific research were used, such as methods of analysis, comparison, statistical and expert evaluations of the survey. A systematic approach is used , which allows small and medium enterprises to be considered as a business for its goals, through their realization and obtaining certain results.
