Abstract
Master Thesis "Rights and Responsibilities of a Teacher as a Public Official in Georgia", Includes a substantive review of the existing Law on the Rights and Responsibilities of Teachers Working in Georgian Schools, Mistakes Related to the Relevant Law, and Ways to Prevent Violations.
Proper understanding, comprehension and fulfillment of teachers' rights and responsibilities is a very important issue in Georgia. Ignorance or misunderstanding of teachers' rights can lead to an extremely difficult situation for the student or teacher. The revelation of such facts often raises questions in the society:
▪ What rights does a teacher have?
▪ How informed are teachers about their rights and responsibilities?
▪ Do they fulfill these obligations honestly?
The purpose of the master's thesis is to answer these and other questions.
The task of the research is to see what types of disorders we encounter in school today and how teachers see ways to prevent these disorders. The subject of research is the rights and responsibilities given to a teacher by law. The object of research is considered to be the violations and misconduct, the facts of which are still found in schools. Based on the main results of the research, we can say that the state still needs a lot of work in terms of teacher rights and responsibilities.
