The globalization process and ongoing challenges in the world have put forward the role of women in modern political and economic issues. Depending on the need, recognition of this role has also occurred at legislative level. The existing political system and approach of the society in Georgia gradually takes a civilized form. Today we are freely talking about gender institution and balanced system. The present work deals with the main directions of research topic and the problems outlined hereon. As well as the documents of international importance in this direction are processed and the existing mechanisms in Georgia are discussed. In this work, based on statistical data, there is represented the issue of necessity of women's role in the public sector, as well as recommendations and proposals necessary for state vision and effective management of it at international level. work consists of the introduction, 3 chapters, and subchapters included in it, conclusion and recommendations. The introduction part mainly deals with assessment of the political-cultural dimension of women's role in the public administration system of Georgia. It also includes actuality of the research topic on the background of modern global challenges; Historical and cultural characterization of the role of Georgian woman in the parallel with ethnic identity of Georgians; As well as there is given schematic challenges of historical and current development; The quality of the research problem, its scientific and practical significance. Introduction also includes scientific news of the work about the modern state of gender equality in Georgian reality; Ideas, generalizations, conclusions of the work, that will promote further active women role in society and public sector. culture in Georgia and its compatibility with democracy. There is a local political culture in Georgia that is spread in a relatively small part only. The paper also reviews why the introduction of civil culture in the population is important for the stable development of democracy generally. In the second chapter – “Woman role in politics on international and local level” – there is described existed situation of the country in terms of women participation and representation. In this chapter we will discuss in details the role of women in historical context and towards the modern challenges. It is absolutely impossible to talk about building a democratic and developing society without women's engagement in political and electoral processes. At the same time, we broadly refer to international organizations of women, the prehistory and importance of feminist movement. One of the sub-chapeters include the issue of gender equality in Georgia, namely gender balance of employees in public institutions. The work also provides the tasks of the National Action Plan of Georgia to facilitate equal involvement of women in public administration. The third chapter – Positive and Negative Assessments of Gender Equality in Public Governance – The international experience of gender budget formation, in particular, the structure and required mechanisms of Ronda Sharp gender budget. At the same time, we will describe the practice of gender budgeting in Georgia, which started in 2004. Unfortunately, women are still not perceived as equal partners and their professional, intellectual and personal dignity is underestimated. Given this, there is a review of the gender balance of employees employed in Georgian public institutions. As we believe, our activities, implemented for studying research object, will give practical value to the work that is enclosed to this chapter. Judgment and Findings – It is noted that all major international instruments of human rights have already been adopted and ratified by Georgia; also we have taken all major international obligations, including the Convention on the elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women, but anyway we are far from a desired reality. We need to understand and correct the existing practice. For this it is necessary to raise political consciousness and then grow up women's generation of politicians. The more women are presented in politics, the higher quality of democracy will be in the country. After finding and analyzing the issues related to the topic of the study, we can say that there are revealed a number of issues that affect the role of women in public governance and therefore we have included our recommendations that the government should take into consideration to overcome the existing barriers.
