The presented work "The poetry of Giorgi Gamkrelidze and Giorgi Kipiani's poetry on the pages of “Bedi Kartlisa” published in Paris " has got the following purposes:
1. To study the historical, scientific and literary collection of "Bedi Kartlisa" literary part and outline the poetic texts.
2. To pick up the poetic heritage of Giorgi Gamkrelidze and Giorgi Kipiani.
3. To research the date of writing each poem, compare the poems printed in the books to the poetic texts included in the books and discuss the options on the comparative analysis.
4. To find out the texts remained outside the poetry collection and introduce them to the public.
The first chapter of the work includes the analysis of Giorgi Gamkrelidze's literary heritage, the history of each poem taken out from the pages of "Bedi Kartlisa": date of writing, in which poetry collection it was published, whether it has got any other options and whether it was included in the book.
The second chapter of the work discusses the works of Giorgi Kipiani according to the poems printed in "Bedi Kartlisa". Each poem is compared to the poems included in poet's poetry collections and some options are found, as well as the poetic texts remained out of the books.
A detailed research has shown that their work is considered in the context of the world literature. Their literary taste was refined in emigration.
This is one of the first scientific works in which the poetic part of the historical, scientific and literary collection "Bedi Kartlisa" has been studied. In particular, all the poetic texts of Giorgi Gamkrelidze and Giorgi Kipiani printed in "Bedi Kartlisa", their detailed analysis and the scientific criticism created so far.
The work has used the methods of descriptive research and comparative analysis.
