სფინქსის სახე ანტიკურობიდან თანამედროვე ბერძნულ ლიტერატურამდე

Abstract

The Sphinx is one of the most popular figures in the mytho-poetic tradition and consequently it has been used in various artistic forms both in Greek and global culture. It is no surprise, that the figure of the Sphinx after undergoing certain changes during the centuries, it returned back to the modern Greek literature. The main goal of the presented study is to carefully observe how the mythological figure of the Sphinx has been developed, what changes it has undergone, if it has at all, what is the symbolic meaning of this figure and how it has been used in literature according each era and literary movement. In this study, attention is mainly paid in the role of figure of the Sphinx in the ancient, English and modern Greek literature. The Sphinx, both as a symbol and as a figure, it has been very popular not only in the global literature, but also in painting, sculpture and in various religions all around the world, however the main interest of this study is the examination of the literary field and more specifically, we will try find out if there are any analogies between the English and Greek literature concerning the role of the figure of the Sphinx, because, in our opinion, English writers influenced the most Greek literature.

სფინქსი ბერძნული მითოპოეტური ტრადიციის ერთ-ერთი უპოპულარესი ფიგურაა, რომელმაც მრავალგზის ჰპოვა თავისი მხატვრული ასახვა, ჯერ ელინთა კულტურაში, ხოლო შემდეგ მსოფლიო კულტურაში. რა საკვირველია, სფინქსის სახე, უმრავი გადამუშავების შემდეგ, დაბრუნდა თანამედროვე ბერძნულ ლიტერატურაშიც. წარმოდგენილი ნაშრომის მიზანია თვალი გავადევნოთ, თუ როგორ ხდებოდა სფინქსის როგორც მითოლოგიური ფიგურის ფორმირება, რა სახის ტრანსფორმაცია განიცადა, თუ განიცადა, როგორი სიმბოლიკის მატარებელია და როგორ გამოიყენება ლიტერატურაში ეპოქისა და ლიტერატურული მიმდინარეობის მიხედვით. ნაშრომში აქცენტი კეთდება, ძირითადად, სფინქსის როლზე ანტიკურ, ინგლისურენოვან და ბერძნულ ლიტერატურაში. სფინქსი, როგორც სიმბოლო და პერსონაჟი ძალიან პოპულარულია, არა მხოლოდ მსოფლიო ლიტერატურაში, არამედ მხატვრობაშიც, სცულპტურაშიც და სხვადასხვა რელიგიებშიც, თუმცა ჩვენ შემოვიფარგლებით მხოლოდ ლიტერატურის სფეროთი და კერძოდ შევეცდებით პარალელები გავავლოთ სფინქსის როლზე ინგლისურენოვან და ბერძნულენოვან ლიტერატურაში, რადგან ვთვლით, რომ ყველაზე მეტი ზეგავლენა ბერძნულენოვან ლიტერატურაზე ინგლისურენოვანმა ავტორებმა იქონიეს.
