Abstract
The significance of the problem. In the new millenium, the electronic market place has reorganized the world economy, has created new social, economic and political tendencies, has brought the world order, new doctrines, has established a modern society and civilization, which eventually, has contributed to the progress of humanity and the development of countries in the world.
Establishment of electronic market in Georgia, creation of information and communication technologies, establishment of information systems and technologies, came too late because of the events taking place in post-communist countries. Consequently, Georgian electronic market falls behind the world scales by the level of development. However, based on marketing studies, there is a need for market formation. The significance of the problem, lack of coverage of this problem in Georgian academic literature, also the need for scientific study of the goals, the need for the practical use of conclusions and proposals have influenced MA thesis topic choice and the research direction.
The aim of the research is to show the role of the latest digital technologies in Georgia in branding process, and to identify the existing achievements and challenges in the world as well as in Georgia.
