Impact of Georgia-EU DCFTA on exports

The paper discusses impact of the DCFTA on exports between Georgia and the EU. Trade in foreign markets plays an important role in the growth of the country's economy. Therefore, it is important for both the country and Georgian entrepreneurs to bring as many products as possible to the single market.
The first part of the paper covers information on EU trade policy in general. What are the characteristics and how to trade in the European single market. The chapter also discusses the EU's trade policy with its eastern neighbors, such as Georgia, Ukraine, and Moldova.
The second part of the paper already deals with the EU-Georgia Association Agreement in general, in particular the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement. The characteristics of the Georgia-EU DCFTA and the peculiarities of the trade regime of the agreement in general are characterized.
The third part of the paper describes a general study of the strategies used by Georgian companies in entering the EU market. Georgian export trends in the EU market are also discussed. It describes the challenges that Georgian companies face when entering the market of European countries.
