Abstract
The present thesis work describes essence of trafficking, cause of occurrence and obtained results. At the same time all problematic issues concerning human trafficking and attitude thereto are extensively researched, both in accordance with national legislation and international law.
In the present thesis theme we tried to consider anti-trafficking measures existing in Georgia as much as possible, preventive measures and actions to move forward, as well as developed mechanisms for protecting a victim, stipulated by domestic and foreign legislation. Seeking effective solutions for fighting against trafficking and safety protection of victims, which unintentionally became a part of such heinous crime, is the most important. In case of changing attitude toward the issue and developing progressively, certainly the obtained results should be much better.
Trafficking victim should be familiar that legislation considers her/him not as an offender but as a victim, and due to this fact he/she is not forced to endure physical or moral violence. Legislation provides him/her with the opportunity to be rescued from slavery and to become a fully productive member of society.
National and International legislation takes effective actions, thereby this fact should create precondition for reducing significantly of such heinous crime if not eliminating completely, step by step in the further.
Taking into consideration above-mentioned, trafficking and all related issues shall be considered in chapters and sub-chapters specified below.
Thesis work contains a content, introduction, principal theme, conclusion and list of sources used.
