Abstract
The demographic composition of Georgia has changed substantially over the last two decades. Increased age and decrease in childbirth levels is a visible trend that has led to a decrease in the number of workforce population. The country's demographic situation is characterized by a sharp expression of the nation's aging, as well as the efficient functioning of the pension system in the light of weak economic and social hardship. Mastering topics presented by us are based on the importance of the pension system, namely the introduction of the accumulated pension model. The subject of research is the pension system of Georgia, analysis of pension system reform, identification of existing shortcomings and determining optimal pension model. The research object is a pension, pension type and meaning. The essence of the accumulated pension model, its possible positive and negative consequences. The goal of the research is to consider the pension system of Georgia, to establish the importance of the accumulated pension system and the role of the population to improve social conditions The scientific innovations of the research show a significant analysis of the pension system reform, pension system reforms, deficiencies and possible expected outcomes. The ways of solving existing problems are set and recommendation is to introduce a pension system that is the main source of pension funding.
