The title of this master’s thesis is the electoral manipulations in Georgia and its causes. The
research was done by Tamari Razmadze, in the framework of the political science degree
programs.
This work - the electoral manipulations in Georgia and its causes are related to analysis of election
manipulations. The issue is determined by the 2018 presidential elections that took place in the
background of a number of significant violations and accusations. However, the issue was not
studied in depth. Based on scientific research.
Based on the research, the study analyzes the facts of manipulation in the presidential election
of 2018 and the reasons for which the political subjects are involved in electoral manipulations.
Based on the theory of the research and theoretical knowledge, the following actions were
analyzed: the use of administrative resources, bribing the voters, intimidation and more. This
work also includes research into the causes of election manipulation and discussion of factors
that encourage political subjects to engage in election falsification.
The objective of the research was concrete manipulation facts and opinions about what
encourages and encourages political engagement in electoral manipulation.
