Master’s work concerns to society representation in modern reality by The Rustaveli theatre - how modern reality is reflected in the Rustaveli theatre performances and how it will be perceivable by the Georgian audience.
The Rustaveli theatre is one of the first playhouse in Georgia which plays important role in development of Georgian culture since its very foundation. The Rustaveli theatre has introduced Georgia to the intire world and obtained honorable place in international theatrical arena. Performances produced at the Rustaveli theatre covered actual, problematic themes and issues that were prohinited by that time. Theatre had influence on society and on formation of general opinion in the country.
The analysis of the Rustaveli theatre history gives us the opportunity to discuss such issues as individual, society, state, state policy, everyday life of citizens and other themes. This highlights additional significant status to the Rustaveli theatre as the institute illustrating social-cultural exitance of the state.
