The problem of Kurds is one of the key issues in Middle Eastern politics. Among them Iraqi Kurds’ problems are particularly active, Which has been the center of attention not only in this region but also in the world for a long time. It became especially active after the end of the authoritarian regime of Saddam Hussein. Iraqi kurds have always stood out for their aspiration for indefendence, especially after the end of the Saddam’s regime, there were favorable conditions for them, because the central government has been weakening since 2003.therefore, Iraqi Kurds did not delay and kept going desperate struggle for indefendence.It is fact that the problem of Iraqi Kurds is not only a problem for this country, it has a serious impact on the region as a whole, because kurds are in Iran, Turkey and even in Cyria.
The political crisis, generated from Arab Spring, created favorable conditions for Iraqi kurds. Iraqi kurds became extremely active and they took important steps to aquire full indefendence from Iraq. They hoped that they had serious support of the US. They even held a referendum and they lacked one step to gain indefendence, but things did not go so well, as they were supposed to. One of the reason was that Iraqi kurds indefendence would create more serious problem in this region and would aggravate the political crisis there.
