Abstract
In contemporary world, to be successful as a company and part of the any business, you have to stroggle with a huge competition, in any sphere of production of product and service. But, meanwhile 21 century offers us such kind of technological innovations that helps to handle the mention kind of competition. To be more specific, internet and technological novelty help companies to present their product and services to wide group of customers and to get relevant response from them without any excess expenditures or effort. Also, these assets (internet and technologival innovations) help them to identify the needs of potential customers and respond to them accordingly.
All the processes and opportunities mentioned above consolidate in a whole system which is called Digital Marketing. Digital Marketing is the most successful kind in history of marketing, because the list of its advantages is endless. Digital marketing helps to connect with potential customers and exchange all the essential information instanter, without any extra financial or labour expanses.
The purpose of this work is to show the meaning of Digital Marketing, how airports and airlines use it and how they get benefits. This information was gained from studying and processing main and secondary literature. Because of newness of this theme, we don’t have Georgian literature about it. It is extorted gradually on a world scale and datas are available in English. So, in this work is used foreign literature, web-sites, datas from foreign statical and aviation departaments, organizations and companies and also results from taken questionnaire survey.
On the basis of this research confidently was established that airports and airlines can benefit a lot from use of Digital Marketing, and this kind of marketing activities can increas efficiency of that industrial units. The benefits, mentiond above can be formulated brifely:
Digital marketing can establish and reinforce formal and infromal relations between airports and airlines and their customers and also simplify feedback;
Digital markting helps to handle conjunctures easily;
Digital makreting forms and assistances corporate ties;
Digital marketing helps in presentation, supplying, selling and promoting the product or service;
Digital marketing smiplifies helding market researches.
