ევროკავშირის ჩართულობა შეიარაღებული კონფლიქტების მოგვარებაში: საქართველოს მაგალითი

The research represents the study review of partnership between Georgia and The
European Union since 1990 up to today; evaluates the EU’s involvement in the peaceful
conflict resolution processes of Georgia, as a result of its armed conflicts; examines
independent experts’ evaluation on various approaches and implemented relevant
programmes of Georgia and the EU for last decade towards conflict resolution and
sustaining peace building; presents the final recommendations on what in particular is
possible and/or necessary to enhance and make effective activities of the Government of
Georgia for conflict management and peacebuilding to achieve more tangible results on
local, national and international levels. The major parts of the research are based on dozens of reports and papers available. In
particular various open source materials of the Government of Georgia, the EU and
national institutions’ are reviewed and analyzed. Based on all information the final 3
major recommendations are generated for interested institutions and stakeholders on
local and international levels.
