Achievement of gender equity is still one of the serious challenges in Georgia with respect to human rights. Society still lives in environment of stereotypes, where domestic violence against women is mostly justified; number of early marriage is high, women are minority at a level of decision-making and violation of gender identity and sexual orientation is frequent.
Notwithstanding, women achieved a success in many countries in the fields of education, law, economics, sport or art, there are less women in political arena.
Under the law of Georgia, gender equity is secured – men and women enjoy the equal rights, which are reflected in constitution and the other laws.
This paper aims to demonstrate the subject matter of women quotation and analysis of major specification since the 90s until 2016. As well, historical experience of developed countries is emphasized how the quotes have been adopted and inculcated. Exactly this quotation system has done its great service to a sound growth of women quotes in some countries.
