The master’s thesis deals with receiving of inheritance, namely with receiving the inheritance by factual acquiring of inheritance by heirs upon expiry of deadlines stipulated by law. The work reflects the difficulties and problems faced by them after expiry of relevant deadlines, legal norms associated with factual acquiring of inheritance and relevant literature are reviewed. A solution is sought and offered for avoidance of complications in the practice of inheritance case processing and legal consequences occurring when factual acquiring of inheritance cannot be verified.
