Abstract
Political election is one of the most important event in 21st century - locally and internationally. As long as pre-election process is so considerable in the country, it may become the subject of interest of the international community.
Pre-election advertising campaigns of various parties are the keys of socialization or re-socialization of political unions. Experts call pre-election advertisements as a tool for market competition.
The goal of my Master's Thesis is to analyze pre-election political advertisements of candidates participating in the self-government elections in Georgia in 2017. To be more specific, my study subject is to find out the main differences and similarities between male and female candidates political advertismements.
Since the involvement of female politicians is a challenge not only for Georgia, but for the whole world, it is interesting to study pre-election political advertisements in the gender context.
Nowadays, this kind of research has not been conducted in Georgia yet. As this will be new view of political advertisments studies in Georgia, I think it will be interesting for wide rage of researchers.
