As a result of the resource potential of country tourism development is the priority for Georgia. The country must use its valuable location and ensure the transit and regional hub function. This process is very challenging and it depends on many factors. In the process of searching the development vector of region , cultural and mental factors must be taken into consideration, in addition to study approaches that are used in foreign countries.
Tourism, as well as other economic sectors, needs to develop with appropriate politics for stability, in condition of national also the local and regional development. Policy development in tourism is essential in order to effectively achieve the goals set out in the short-term and long-term motions beyond a specific country or region.
In this research I have obviously discussed tourism policy in Georgia, tourism potential of Georgia and types of tourism in Georgia.
