In addition, it is noteworthy that the novel is two-volume and at various times by different literary critics, it has been evaluated as both a dialogue and a trilogy; However, the work covers and combines a number of interesting topics, and, taking into account all this, it becomes clear that the study of the novel will be quite extensive work and the complete exhaustion of its research perspectives, within a few studies or even a master’s thesis, is completely unthinkable. Therefore, our work focuses on one specific aspect of the novel, which is related to one of its main ideas, namely, in the background of the Georgian-Russian conflict, the author outlines and covers a broad perspective of the problem - the common challenges of the Caucasian people, the importance of considering each other's interests in finding solutions to problems and the value of partnership.
Thus, our research has several purposes, one of which is to make a certain contribution to the research of current literary processes - through a complex research of the most extensive work of the modern Georgian author; The second is to highlight the literary reflection of modern, large-scale challenges on the example of the novel, taking into account historical vicissitudes; And the third goal is the novel analysis of a specific idea (United Caucasus) through parallel research with other historical and literary texts.
Therefore, we believe that the subject we have chosen for the research is very interesting, topical and at the same time, containing important news.
