The study of Georgian preverbs has a long history, study of its origin and function-purpose is one of the interesting and noteworthy issues.
Although many things have been done in this regard, there still remain a lot of unclear and unspecified issues.
Ketevan Tsintsadze’s work “Preverb in Old Georgian” is the survey of the types and function-purpose of the preverbs in old Georgian. The clerical or original written samples are used as sources.
The work includes the annotation in Georgian and English languages, two chapters, five paragraphs, conclusions and list of the literature used.
