Abstract
The master's thesis on "Tourism Service Agreement under the Civil Code of Georgia and EU Law" was composed by Amiran Japaridze in order to obtain the academic Master’s degree of Laws at the Eastern European University. To work on the topic was decided due to the priority of this field as well as improper study and adjustment of its legal regulation. Tourism is vital to the economy in many countries, including Georgia. Tourism accounts for the largest share of employment in the service industry. It includes a variety of services that are the largest part of the service industry. These services are mostly well-regulated by EU law whereas Georgian one does not include detailed regulation of this sector. Since Georgia has an obligation under the Association Agreement with Europe to bring national laws in line with EU norms, including the field of tourism, the developed topic deserves to be payed attention in this regard. The university's rich electronic library and efficient use of Internet resources have enabled academic work to be carried out despite the global outbreak of the raging COVID-19 pandemic
