Abstract
Blockchain technology is often referred as the third generation of Internet, which has brought
an unprecedented security level and there is no possibility to hack its security. blockchain
technology is so convenient that it can be implemented in actually in all areas of information
technology. Among them is land registration.
This work examines the land registration in Georgia, how it was in the past and how it is today,
and how they use blockchain technology in land registration, what are its advantages and
disadvantages and what is international practice.
During my work I had to use Georgian and foreign sources, to analyze various articles and
reports. The paper also includes 3 interviews with public registry staff, about the use of blocking
technology in land registration in Georgia.
