For centuries Georgian and Armenian nations lived side by side. The period of living together was not homogeneous. Throughout the history we can find out the examples of cooperation of these two nations, also the facts of controversy and enmity.
In the end of XVIII century there was disagreement within political interests and views between Georgian and Armenian people. The aim of the pervious work is to review these events.
On the one hand this work represents the progress of Kartl-Kakheti kingdom in the middle of XVIII century This progress caused political and economical power of the country. On the other hand here is analized the negative role of Armenian distinct groups in Kartl-Kakheti political life (especially in reference to Russia). The activities of “Armenian Dasi” is studied according to the works of Georgian writer and historian Aleksandre-Jambakur Orbeliani.
In this work is also revied the personality of catholicos Simeon Erevantsi, who was one of the important representative of Armenian theological and political spectrum.
