Problems related to obligatory share in hereditary law

The master's thesis presents the concept and importance of obligatory share - one of the most important institutions of hereditary law and the problematic issues that are related to it.
Georgia's civil legislation is familiar with the legal norms regulating the obligatory share, but there are some issues that need to be formulated as a norm.
Because of low legal awareness, most of the people do not know what the obligatory share means, while all of us are in touch with legacy. So I consider to study this issue and to find out the problems that are related to it important.
The obligatory share is the Institute of hereditary law aimed at the protection of the heir who was not taken into account in the will by the testator and was left without an inheritance.
The Master's thesis Describes what the obligatory share means, I also identify problematic issues related to it and determine practical and legal recommendations.
Accordingly, the paper deals with the essence of the institution of obligatory share, whether the interests of the heirs are protected or whether the testator's desire is restricted to dispose of the property.
