ცხინვალის რეგიონიდან დევნილი მოსახლეობის სოციალურ– ეკონომიკური მდგომარეობა (წეროვანის და კოდას დასახლებების მაგალითი)

Internally displaced persons are one of the most vulnerable groups in Georgia, which is the subject of high interest of the state. As a result of political developments in the 1990s, the first flow of IDPs appeared in the country and the number of internally displaced persons after the August war 2008 has increased and consequently the effort to meet their problems have been increased.
The purpose of my work is to study the most important social and economical situation of IDPs on the example of Tserovani and Koda settlements. On the basis of their comparison I will try to identify the geographical factors, which has influence on the lives of IDPs.
Depending on the research of this paper, it is necessary to review the effectiveness of the measures taken by the state and international or non-governmental organizations towards the socioeconomic problems of internally displaced persons.
One of the directions of this thesis is to determine how the population is informed about the socio-economic programs and their implementation mechanisms, what appropriate programs are implemented by the local or central government, how much the population is involved in the decision-making process on local issues.
