ხანგრძლივი განსახლების ( გრძელვადიანი გადაწყვეტის) პროგრამის გავლენა კომპაქტურად ჩასახლებულ დევნილ მოსახლეობაზე თბილისისა და ფოთის მაგალითებზე

Internally displaced people are one of the most vulnerable groups of the
country, many of them have been living in exile for the past 25 years, as a result of
separatist conflicts. Along with the duration of internally displacement, the
necessity of local integration and resettlement (durable solution) of IDPs has
increased.
This master thesis ,,The impact of long-term resettlement ( durable solution
) program on compactly settled IDPs in Poti and Tbilisi” by Elene Kurdgelia (E.
Kurdgelia) – aims to reveal the impact of durable solution on IDP’s and to identify
the attitude of internally displaced people on local integration and long-term
resettlement.
In order to achieve goal these tasks were accomplished: introducing the
terms related to long – term resettlement and integration of IDPs. Has been studied
the factors , which are promote or disrupt local integration of IDPs, also has been
studied local and international legislation connected with IDPs and their
resettlement. The paper deals about financing of integration programs, including
long-term resettlement programs and provides relevant statistical material. In order
to achieve goal , were conducted interviews with experts. Within the qualitative
research, were held interviews with compactly settled IDPs in Poti and Tbilisi. The
target groups of the qualitative research were compactly settled IDPs in Poti and
Tbilisi.
