ეპიკური (პროზაული) ჟანრის განვითერების ისტორია XIX საუკუნის ქართულ ლიტერატურაში

The aim of the Master's thesis was to study the history of epic (prose) genres in the Georgian literature of XIX century. Thus, the object of research was the XIX century Georgian literature. This issue is closely related to the problems of literary theory. By considering the thoughts of researchers and analyzing them, we tried to find out the news in the Georgian literature of the XIX century according to prosaic, epic genre development. Therefore, we have reviewed what the old Georgian writings traditionally brought about it and what was developed in the XIX century. Particularly, we have established that in the XIX century Georgian literature developed such epic (prose) genres such as a story and a novel, as well as Memoradic (Autobiography, Travel Diary, Memoir), which is more characteristic for the last period of the epoch (A. Tsereteli "My Adventure"). The topic is actual as we tried for the first time to show the story of the development of epic genre on the background of different literary directions (Romanticism, Realism), which was completely achieved in the XX century.
