In the modern world, the fight against various violations of the rights of minors is very urgent, while considering their predominant interests, protecting fundamental rights and satisfying their needs. In fact, these issues are the core political mission of all countries. In recent years, there has been an active fight against early marriage, by promoting the rights of education for minors. Juvenile marriages cause social, economic and psychological problems that do not leave minors the choice of education, since maintaining a family requires a great deal of effort and resources that the minors often lack. In this sense, our research topic of early marriage, as one of the hindrances to education, is relevant to the educational space.
The present paper discusses the barriers to full inclusion in the educational process, including early marriage, being a primary focus. Topics include: the phenomenon of early marriage, its consequences and causes, the role of the education system in the prevention of early marriage, legislative and statistical data, and the current research. Moreover, the results of the qualitative research conducted within the framework of the master thesis are also presented.
