The main goal of the research project is to find out the main peculiarities of implementing Management by Objectives methodology in small and medium- sized companies, specializing in Professional Services. Employees have one of the major and the most important roles in this type of companies, because they offer their B2B clients knowledge-based services. For further development it is also important to understand the effect of implementing MBO.
The research project included both - qualitative and quantitative research types. Each of them has its individual goal. The procedure of the research included setting up parameters and developing the strategy of the research project, selecting companies and defining the number of participants. The type of business was set as the main parameter of the research. Business types could be: Consulting, Audit, ERP Implementation, IT Maintenance Services etc. By using interviews, research project team gathered information and then analyzed it.
