Famili violence, modern problem and the mechanisms to combat it

Family offense - described in Article 1261 of the Criminal Law. The crime is quite old and dangerous. This article lists all the actions that can be considered as domestic violence.
Domestic violence is a big problem throughout the world and it is not an exception in Georgia. It is considered to be a serious crime from ancient times in Georgia. This crime is reflected in old law monuments and is fairly good in the form of legislation. It is more important nowadays, because people have realized that such acts of violence constitute a crime and go beyond the family. In Georgia, there was a change in the Criminal Justice Code of Georgia, when the family violence was allocated from the violence in general.
It was always a topic of concern and was a research topic for lawer scientists and practitioners. A lot of research has been written about this issue.
The subject of this master's thesis is the domestic crime and the mechanisms to combat it. The paper discusses basic aspects of origin and development of domestic violence.
While preparing the theory, we used theoretical nature, statutory acts, and parallel to the institutions created to prevent domestic violence in other countries. Also, we have been studying statistics in Georgia and we have compared with the last three years.
