Stylistics is one of the most important fields of linguistics that require multidisciplinary research. The purpose of the present work was to analyze stylistic specifics one of the most important literary process of the XX c. - Modernism - on the example of Niko Lortkipanidze, Grigol Robakidze and Titsian Tabidze prose language.
The structure and volume of the work. The work consists of the introduction, the main chapters, subtitles, conclusions and the list of used literature.
The first chapter - is review the main characteristics of stylistics, as one of the fields of linguistics. The aim, task and object of the stylistics is defined. An attempt was made to briefly discuss the history of the issue from antiquity to the present day. Since there is a lack of material in Georgian literature on stylistics, it can be said that fundamental papers are not found in this regard, and we have established our research on the provisions and approaches in Western scientific literature. Since the case was in the language of writers, the main focus of the research was the artistic style and its peculiarities. Independent subtitle is considered modernism as a worldview, because linguistic-stylistic features are directly related to this model of thinking and its sustainable constituents.
The second chapter - the main part, that represents the scientific tests on the basis of the classifiers to examine the empirical material we have obtained. In this section, the lexical framework is discussed and emphasized in the Modernist writers' languages, the peculiarities or the general linguistic-stylistic characteristics. In addition, the extensive subtitle is dedicated to the verb, its expressive function and the text or proposal style. We think, that the main part of our study topic is the segment, that will substantially answer the given title.
The third chapter - is dedicated to the artistic-language expression, so called, types of trope and their stylistic functions. Since this part of the stylistic significantly covers literature, so in our research we made only focus on the main artistic faces.
Conclusions - The results of the survery are generalized.
