The main goal of the thesis is to dicover what kind of is Russian Federation’s hybrid warfare against Georgia. First of all, it’s important to define what is hybrid warfare, why does Russia use it against Georgia and what was the results of Russian hybrid policy for independent Georgia.
This topic is the most actual, because according to the Georgian National Security Concept, Russia is a threat to Georgia’s sovereignty and its national security. Russian hybrid warfare is a real threar which Georgia is facing now. Unfortunately, citizens of Georgia do not have an information on this definition of war and they think about war only in wraditional way – the military intervention. So, that’s why it is important to make a research and gather many facts into one thesis, which will make it easy for the readers to undersand what is hybrid warfare, what kind of challenges it brings to Georgia and what will be future threats for the country.
So, my main goal is to analyze the latest political history of Georgia and identify all the facts that are associated with Russian hybrid warfare. I have a special emphasis on Russia’s support of separatism in Abkhazia and Samachablo, followed by the collapse of the state sovereignty.
