Abstract
The phenomenan of buffer states is less studied in the theories of international relationships.We considered it important to anelize the status of buffer state for south caucasian countries.
South Caucasian countries are the countries that started building independent from 1992. The geopolitical and geostrategic location of the countries was abvious for the whole world, and the natural resources existing in the countries make these countries important in the world trade union. As the region is located on the boundery of Europe and Asia importance and attraction to the region increases greatly.
In the graduate research we discuss the charecteristics of international relationships of these three countries. Their attitude to the countries ,aliances and from these point we avaluated the political vector of these three countries. The titles of the research give us possibility to consider and analize the political orientation of each country. We consider the research to be very interesting. In the academic work the newest approaches buffer countries are discussed as well as the charecteristics of their international relationshios
